The Trap Shoot

Trap shooting is held every Sunday at noon year-round, as well as Wednesdays at 4:00 PM from May through October. As of May 1, 2026, the cost is $8 per round (25 shots).

Participants are required to bring their own shotgun, ammunition, and basic shooting equipment, including shooting glasses and hearing protection. Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear, and dress for the weather, as this is an outdoor, all-weather activity.

New Shooters

New shooters will receive a briefing on safety, trap shooting rules, and range etiquette prior to shooting. Private trap shooting sessions may also be arranged upon request, subject to range availability.

Group Event Booking

Corporate employee appreciation events, team-building activities, stag parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and other group trap shooting events can also be booked.

Annual Trap Events

“Annie Oakley” and “Buddy Buddy” illumination competition shoots are held annually on Boxing Day, as well as on the last Sundays of March, June, and September. These fun and friendly competitions are open to all experienced shotgun shooters, including both Rod & Gun Club members and non-members.

You must supply:

• Ear and eye protection
• One shotgun
• 25 shells
• $8 for 25 claybirds
